General Requirements

​​​Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

​Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages/bags not previously used for any purpose.

A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Consignment must be clearly labelled with the correct botanical name (genus and species), including the details of the varieties as stated on the import permit.Plant must be bare rooted.

Plants are subject to post entry quarantine on arrival in India. ​

1) Apple stem grooving virus, Apple scar skin viroid, Fire blight (Erwinia amylovora), Parasitic wasps (Megastigmus spermotrophus), and Apple rust (Gymnosporangium spp), are not known to occur in Australia.

2) The plants in this consignment were inspected and found to be free of Crown gall disease (Agrobacterium tumefaciens), Bacterial gall (Agrobacterium rhizogenes) and viruses and phytoplasmas affecting Pomidae.
